Game Changer Parent Assembly At Meyers Park High School

On September 26th at 6:30 PM in the Auditorium, Dream Team hosted “Game Changer”, an assembly bringing awareness to the new dangers of drugs & alcohol.

“Game Changer” featured two speakers: Hugh Shannon, a father who lost his son David, a Myers Park alumni, in a tragic, alcohol-involved accident, & Debbie Dalton, a mother who lost her 23-year-old son, Hunter, to a drug overdose.

David Shannon T-shirts were on sale for $10 and could be purchased with cash or Venmo (@MPDreamTeam) to wear during the David Shannon Football game against Rocky River High School on September 28th. As an incentive for attendance, one 100-point informal grade pass was given to parents or students who attend. This pass can be used in one class.
